# Overview

Manage browser profiles (environments), including workspace tag associations.

## Template availability

The Local API currently does not expose profile template management or creation
from a template. Passing `template_uuid` does not apply a template, and creating a
profile through the Local API does not inherit the desktop app's default template.
Supply the desired profile fields and sync settings directly in the create request.

## Rotating residential proxy sessions

Set `proxy.session_sticky_ttl` to `30`, `60`, `90`, or `120` to control how long a residential rotating proxy keeps the same IP:

* On create, omit `session_sticky_ttl` to use the default 30-minute sticky session.
* On update or quick update, omit it to preserve the Profile's current duration.
* Request-based rotation is not supported for Profiles.
* Unsupported values return Local API error code `2002`.
